Our Therapeutic Massages

Swedish Massage

One of the most common types of massage therapy. It's often used to relax you, relieve stress and relieve pain. Swedish massage often involves rubbing, kneading, stroking, friction, and tapping your muscles.

Sports Massage

Focuses on enhancing circulation, increasing tissue elasticity, and reducing muscle tension.

Deep Tissue Massage

Continues the format of Swedish massage, sometimes with a slower heavier pressure.

Pre-Natal Massage

Done face-down or side-lying and can safely be done until the day you give birth.

Hot Stone Massage

Pure relaxation. Add stones to your Swedish session for that extra bit of warmth and pressure.

Lomi Lomi

A Hawaiian word for massage is also a style of bodywork. That should feel like the rhythmic movement of water.

The following advanced styles of bodywork CAN all be used as a part of any treatment but should be expected in all Myofascial Release treatment sessions.

Neuromuscular Treatment

A form of soft tissue work that addresses trigger points, circulation issues, nerve compression, and postural and repetitive strain injuries.

Soft Tissue Release

Or mobilization is a more aggressive style of stretching the tissue to break up fascial restrictions.

Positional Release

Uses trigger points as a guide to find the body's position of ease to reduce pain in the body.

Muscle Energy Technique

Uses the muscle's natural contract/relax pattern to gain new length in the muscle.

Body Balancing

An evaluation will be done at the start of the session to see where your tightness exists and how it is affecting your body, perhaps even places you hadn’t been aware of.

"Kim is an incredible massage therapist. She has a degree in massage therapy and is constantly taking classes to update her skills. She's fixed me right up after gym injuries. Highly recommend!"
